Event Designed to Expand Knowledge on the Benefits of Remanufacturing to the Economy and the Environment
Thanks to everyone who joined us on April 12, 2018 for the first Annual Reman Day. At our Irving location we hosted tours and held a brief discussion on remanufactured products in general and our products specifically. We were honored that the event was attended by the Mayor of Irving, several members of the Irving Chamber of Commerce, and many other local business leaders.
We look forward to next year’s event and thank everyone who attended! Please check out the photo gallery below.

(Irving, Texas) March 28, 2018 – In celebration of Reman Day 2018, AEAMC will host an event on April 12, 2018 at its Irving facility for Customers, Vendors, Local Officials and Interested Parties as part of an effort to educate people about the value of remanufacturing Electrical Distribution Products and draw attention to this critical part of the US economy. Planned activities include a Facility Tour and Examples of Remanufactured Circuit Breakers, Motor Controls and other electrical distribution products (see schedule www.aeamc.com/remanday).
Remanufacturing is a comprehensive and rigorous industrial process by which a previously sold, leased, used, worn, or non-functional product or part is returned to a “like-new” or “better-than-new” condition, from both a quality and performance perspective, through a controlled, reproducible, and sustainable process.
Reman Day is an annual national event executed at the local level supported by remanufacturers as they host students, teachers, parents, job seekers and other local community members at open houses, plant tours and presentations designed to showcase the economic and environmental benefits of remanufacturing.
To mark the event, The City of Irving and the Irving Chamber of Commerce will be issuing proclamations honoring April 12, 2018 as ReMan Day.
“There are countless advantages to remanufacturing goods, including localized job creation and waste diversion,” said Bill Schofield, President of AEAMC. “The goal of Reman Day is to advocate for remanufactured goods, educate people on the advantages of reman, and collaborate with our communities in order to identify future remanufacturing leaders.”
